What Will You Do?

As a Junior Operations & Logistics Officer, you will support the Operations & Logistics team with various operational, administrative, and logistics-related activities, including:

Processing and verifying manifests and customs documentation;
Registering data in systems such as ASYCUDA World;
Supporting loading and unloading activities for import and export cargo;
Requesting berth space, warehouse facilities, and additional services from relevant authorities;
Preparing documents such as Bills of Lading, loading lists, and collection orders;
Maintaining communication with terminal operators and external stakeholders;
Monitoring and updating container and cargo information;
Archiving files and handling email correspondence;
Identifying operational bottlenecks and suggesting process improvements.
Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a motivated candidate who:

Has a secondary education level or equivalent working/thinking level;
Has an interest in logistics, shipping, and container handling;
Has good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook);
Communicates well in both Dutch and English, written and spoken;
Can work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines;
Is reliable, accurate, and proactive;
Works well in a team environment;
Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Has 0–3 years of experience in the industry (starters are also encouraged to apply).
